LIFE IN A NEW CULTURE

 


Life has never stopped in any part of the world, it keeps going so is time. Every society has  its own ways of giving life its appropriate meaning and that can be its culture. Culture is not  universal  concept but rather a contextual one  and also its a matter of perspective. To any society culture can includes the following components; beliefs, taboos, customs, behaviors, art, food and music.

Regardless of the differences every culture is the best on its own ways,and sometimes in a group of people from different culture its normal agreeing to disagree since we judge things and make decisions on basis of  our culture which  differs totally or fragmentary. 

Living in a new culture is always challenging, as everything appears to be new to you from the systems, food, language and even the ways of doing things. As an Act Now participant in Norway, I was compelled by the environment to learn and cope with the new culture so as  to accomplish the key aims of being here( learning, sharing and contributing)throughout this exchange program.Coping with the new culture has been possible due to the fact its easy to adjust when you understand and respect the differences as well as you are enthusiastic toward new culture. Enjoy being one involved in cross cultural interaction its interesting and exciting.😊😊😊
